This can mean many different things to many different people. Whether someone you know and love is fighting for their life physically for their health. Maybe you're fighting for life in war. Maybe just to survive a few more days until you get out. Or in my case, fighting for somebody's soul.
In Matthew 28:19, it says "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit", and I personally think that this is something we are too afraid to do and take too lightly.
We shouldn't be comfortable in our faith because we know we are going to heaven. But we should be concerned for others who don't know.
If someone was walking across a street, and a bus was coming full speed towards them; would you warn them to get out of the way, or let them get hit?
It's very similar! If the people you're friends with, or your family, or the rest of this world who are ALL God's children, are walking down the road of death with Satan coming to grab them, YOU need to tell them! You need to warn them!
It's not going to be easy! The disciples risked their lives to tell people about Jesus, and if one person rejects us, we become a turtle and hide back into our shell.
John 15:18 says, "if the world hates you, keep in mind it hated Me first"
This isn't going to be a walk in the park. There are going to be mountains, there are going to be valleys. But I care too much for my family and friends to watch them just spend eternity in suffering.
I will fight for their lives until the day I stop breathing. I cannot imagine spending eternity without these people.
We need to stand up and stop hiding away when one person rejects you. Pray for them continuously, show them never ending love.
The enemy will not get my loved ones.
I am fighting.
The enemy will not get my loved ones.
I am fighting.
